In May 2004, Clinch (Claus Bøje, drums;
Peter Friis Nielsen, bass guitar; Christer Irgens-Møller, keyboards and synthesizers), with Lotte Anker (saxophones), Steffen Poulsen (live sampling) and Torben Ulrich (voice), went
into the studio under the auspices of Peter Ole Jørgensen at Ninth World Music in Humlebæk, Denmark, to record what would become
"Dice, Done" (DOCD5610). The album was released on CD April 2, 2006, by Olufsen Records, Copenhagen.

From Olufsen Records:
"On the CD "Torben Ulrich in Clinch", with the subtitle "Dice Done", Ulrich recites his own poems to improvisational music by the group Clinch, consisting of Ulrich's old soul brothers Claus Bøje, drums; Peter Friis Nielsen, bass; and Christer Irgens-Møller on keyboards. For this occasion Clinch has been extended with the saxophonist Lotte Anker and Steffen Poulsen on sampling. The music is unpredictable in its constant alternating between the meditative and the more violently jazzed. But never boring. The result is a CD which, as everything that Torben Ulrich - the young man of 78 years - touches, is out of the ordinary!"
